Evidence. RCT (n=16): 2 g raised plasma/salivary nitrate-nitrite; 1 g raised calf blood flow at 30 min and delayed ventilatory threshold; 7–15-day intake improved 4-km TT and time-to-exhaustion (~19%).
Cautions. Avoid with PDE-5 inhibitors or nitrate drugs (additive hypotension); mouthwash blunts conversion.
Directions: Take 3 capsules daily on an empty stomach, or 60 minutes before activity. Avoid antiseptic mouthwash within 2 hours (it blocks nitrate conversion).
